Arrival – Tarangire National Park Game Drive – Overnight in Karatu
Your journey begins with a morning pickup in , either from the hotel or airport. You will then head straight to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s famous baobab-studded landscapes and its large elephant population. A picnic lunch will be served within the park as you continue to search for wildlife including lions, zebras, and giraffes. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to Karatu for your overnight stay. Accommodation in Karatu will be arranged by the guests themselves. Meals included today are picnic lunch
Mto wa Mbu Cultural Bike Tour – Local Lunch – Overnight in Karatu
After breakfast, you will head out for a cultural biking tour through the vibrant farming village of Mto wa Mbu. This immersive experience takes you through banana plantations, rice paddies, bustling local markets, and traditional homes. You will enjoy a hot Tanzanian lunch prepared and served either at a local homestead or a traditional restaurant. After the cultural experience, you will return to Karatu where the evening will be at leisure. Accommodation in Karatu will be arranged by the guests. 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Transfer to Central Serengeti You will depart early from Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extensive game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich environments in Africa. Expect to see black rhinos, lions, buffalos, and large groups of hippos. A picnic lunch will be served at the scenic hippo pool site. In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Serengeti National Park, arriving in the central region for your overnight stay at African Safari Serengeti Camp. Accommodation in Serengeti will be arranged by the guests.
Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
This day is dedicated to exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration or spot elusive big cats such as cheetahs, leopards, and lions. Your professional guide will help you track wildlife and ensure you have the best possible viewing experience. You will return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at African Safari Serengeti Camp. Accommodation in Serengeti will be arranged by the guests.
Serengeti to Grumeti Region
After breakfast, you will depart on a scenic game drive heading toward the western corridor of Serengeti, the Grumeti region. This area is known for its riverine forests, resident hippos, and crocodiles along the Grumeti River. Game viewing en route will give you another chance to observe Serengeti’s diverse wildlife. You will arrive at your camp in the Grumeti area for dinner and overnight at African Safari Serengeti Camp or a similar lodge. Accommodation in Serengeti will be arranged by the guests.
Transfer from Serengeti to Masai Mara (Kenya)
Today begins with an early breakfast before starting the overland transfer through Isebania border post into Kenya, continuing onward to the Masai Mara. After completing border formalities, you will be handed over to your Kenyan team or transferred to your next lodge in Masai Mara. Accommodation for this night is not included in this package. Meals today include breakfast and a packed lunch for the journey.
