Tarangire is a far less visited park on the circuit, with spectacular wildlife sightings in a vast wilderness, huge herds of elephants and open woodlands of acacia. An optional night game drive (about 8pm to 10pm) offers a chance to see nocturnal animals.

Local experiences with the Hadzabe bushmen at Lake Eyasi
Join a morning hunt with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, who stalk small antelope reading every clue in the bush and still use homemade bows and arrows. A full day of cultural immersion; the Hadzabe speak an ancient click dialect and the Datoga villages remain unchanged for millennia.

Ngorongoro Crater to the Ndutu plains
Descend over 600 metres into the crater for a half-day game drive, with lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and elusive leopard, and a visit to Lake Magadi with its flamingos and hippos. After lunch, continue to the Ndutu area to catch the Great Wildebeest Migration.
