The Journey

9 days · Trekking

The Northern Circuit is the longest route on Kilimanjaro and one of the best, with nearly 360 degrees of scenery and low traffic on the rarely visited northern slopes. It starts from Londorossi Gate in the west, crosses the Shira Plateau and circles clockwise from Moir Hut to Buffalo Camp and School Hut before summiting from the east. The extra days give the best acclimatization and the highest summit success rate on the mountain.
